Match Report - 08 May 2016, Holtwhites Bowls Club ESL (4 Triples) beat Cockfosters

Solid start for Holtwhites in defending the league we won last year, against last years runners up. On a very warm afternoon, the match played in the usual friendly atmosphere and closely contested on 3 rinks. Performance of the day on Andy Hatvanis rink winning by 30 shots to 9 which contributed massively to our 22 shot margin!
Well done to Harry Owens rink winning by 4 shots and to Sarah Hooper drawing her last wood to within a few inches of the jack to secure a ite on her rink.

Thanks to Yvonne & John for teas (although John later admitted that he had not contributed!!!), plus Jackie Barchou for cakes and other members who usual fashion helped out including Jackie Murray on bar duty.
