HOLTWHITES BOWLS CLUB - NEWS
On a very unseasonal summers evening, Holtwhites progressed to the next round of the Scott Blain Trophy with a 4 shot victory over Northaw & Cuffley. With the completed disciplines tied at 2 each and a 2 shot deficit, the pairs still playing with 2 ends to play and 4 shots up, nail biting stuff! No worries shared the last 2 ends 1 shot each, phew 😮💨.
Great team effort and well done to all those that played, same time, same place v Rosedale next Friday!
Special thanks to those not involved in the match, Sarah for marking the singles, Chris and merry band of helpers for providing the post match food which was very much appreciated by our opponents and our players. Special mention to Chris who spent the afternoon scraping the new potatoes that we all so enjoyed.
