HOLTWHITES BOWLS CLUB
Bob Akers (Secretary main club) and quizmaster has asked us to circulate details below:
The main club hold quiz nights monthly on Sunday evenings from October to March, winners and runners up receive wine and chocolate respectively, the wooden spoonists also are rewarded! The first quiz will be held on Sunday 7th October, thereafter on the 2nd Sunday of the month.
Start time 7.30pm, cost £2.50 per head (nibbles provided on each table), teams of 8. The quiz normally consists of 8 rounds with an interval after 4 rounds for 'Play your Cards Right' for a cash prize (if you are lucky!).
A number of bowlers already have a tables, but if you are free on these evenings your support would be greatly appreciated.
